Mennekes: AMTRON Wallbox
All AMTRON Wallboxes are devices for charging electric vehicles in mode 3 with a Mennekes type 2 infrastructure- side charging socket as per the European standard.
There are various versions of the AMTRON Wallbox depending on the type of charging authorization: free , key-operated, via APP or RFID card .
There are versions equipped with a calibrated measurement meter and others that integrate the type B differential switch .

The AMTRON® have been carefully designed for ease of use, comfort and safety. A practical charging cable holder system is integrated into the modern and functional design with silver and black colours.
Each AMTRON® Wallbox is suitable for outdoor use and includes a type 2 charging socket with shutter , a device required by Italian legislation for the protection of people with IP XXD protection degree with release function for the charging plug in case of blackout.
All AMTRONs have a controller for vehicle communication so it can be charged in mode 3.
The available powers are between 3.7 kW single-phase and 22 kW three-phase . The maximum power can be set by the installer inside the appliance to the maximum value so as to adapt to the power available at the installation point. The protection of people in AMTRON versions with the suffix R is guaranteed with the use of a type B differential switch which intervenes on all 4 poles and is also capable of protecting against DC fault currents which can be generated when the vehicle is charged electrical are detected and deactivated.
The operating status of the Wallbox is displayed via four LEDs of different colors that can be set as desired.
The intelligent Xtra and Premium versions have a WIFI , Ethernet and RS 485 interface for communications between multiple AMTRONs. Via WIFI and by downloading the free app you can view and control the entire charging process from a tablet or smartphone, including photovoltaic charging. AMTRON Wallboxes have an integrated database (whitelist) for user authorization when using the RFID charging card.
You can also export all charging process data .
Some versions also have a calibrated and MID certified energy meter with S0 interface with external display of the value:
